Abstract
BRAZILIAN LITERATURE OF THE NORTHEAST: TEMPORAL INTERFACES, MULTIPLE LOCALISMS.
The Sociopoética periodical (QUALIS B2), the Graduate Program in Literature and Interculturalism of the State University of Paraíba, invites brazilian and foreign researchers to lean towards the Northeast Brazilian Literature, its tradition, its contemporary demands as well as its dialogue with other Brazilian and Latin American regions and other continents.
This periodical aims to articulate academic contributions and research results that reflect on the relevance of identity representations with focus on regionality, and submit such representations to a theoretical-critical dialogue with the new settings of localism in the current stage of capitalism that both threat spray all identity as reproposes, in other bases, traditional forms of belonging, lifestyle and self-image, requiring new readings of works of yore and methodological contributions that are able to handle with the narrative specificities of the present moment.
